March 2010 - Kandu IT are proud to announce that the centre devised syllabus "PC Assembly, Maintenance and Networking" has now received accreditation from the University of Hull at Level 4 for inclusion as part of the UFA (University Foundation Awards). More info on this program will be available soon.
March 2010 - Kandu IT receive status as a 'A grade' (Excellent) centre following our Edexcel external verification.
February 2010 - Kandu are proud to announce ESP playgrounds as partners and exclusive suppliers of thermoplastic Kandu playground markings
January 2010 – Syllabus submitted to the

November 2009 – The all new BTEC Award in Computer Engineering Level 2 is launched built within the Kandu IT eLearning system.
October 2009 – Presentation of the eLearning Interface and BTEC qualifications to a major university. Kandu IT are invited to create a proposal for an accredited higher education module at Level 4
September 2009 – BETA testers invited to assess the new ‘BTEC Computer Engineering’
August 2009 – Development begins for the adaptation of the BTEC Award in Computer Engineering Level 2 to be updated and included as part of the eLearning Interface.
August 2009 – Kandu approved as a registered trademark for use with playground equipment
June 2009 – Kandu Playground Challenge adopted by Selby based schools partnership
May 2009 – Kandu Playground Challenge adopted by Leeds based schools partnership.
April 2009 – Kandu Playground Challenge trailed by premiership football team to assess suitability for community projects. Awaiting results.

March 2009 – Application to the UKIPO for the registration of Kandu as a trademark
January 2009 – Kandu Education Limited is incorporated
November 2008 – The Kandu team and product range expands when Chalkagility is renamed as ‘Kandu Playground Challenge’, expertise and resources are combined to expand Kandu’s potential for delivering unique learning products.
November 2008 – Physical Education experts approach Kandu Education with an idea for a playground activity with the working title ‘Chalkagility’
November 2008 – Kandu Logo created
November 2008 – ‘The Learning Key’ project is renamed ‘Kandu Education’
November 2008 – The University of Hull Enterprise Centre is officially opened by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh
October 2008 – ‘The Learning Key’ project takes residency within the Enterprise Centre
September 2008 – Enterprise centre tenancy agreed
July 2008 – Business plan and objectives presented to the Enterprise Centre at the University of Hull
May 2008 – Project giving a working title of ‘The Learning Key’
April 2008 – Initial plans are created for a new project to apply innovative learning systems to a broader range of educational subjects.
Nov 2007 – Humberside IT Services submit syllabus for the BTEC Advanced Diploma in IT Network Design & Admin, this is approved by Edexcel.
2002 – 2007 – Humberside IT Services submit syllabus for the BTEC Award in Computer Engineering Level 2, this is successfully approved by Edexcel. The course is used for a number of projects facilitating learning within the prison service, specially funded project, the East Riding Councils’ ReFIT program (Computer Recycling). The course is adapted to CD based home study format training hundreds of candidates with enrolments taking place via http://www.BTECComputerEngineering.co.uk
