Unit 01 begins with an introduction to the basic computer hardware components, such as the CPU, RAM and Motherboard.
These components are gradually assembled and configured creating a working PC.
Microsoft Windows is then installed. Guides and simulations are provided covering Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
We then examine the process of installing drivers and suggest possible strategies should problems occur.
An overview of the Operating Systems is then included, examining key features such as the control panel.
For those without the required hardware & software, Video's and Simulations are provided
