Unit 3 deals specifically with Data Storage and the various options available when installing and configuring Hard Drives.

The Disk Manager tool included as part of Windows Vista is introduced , being used to create Primary, Extended and Logical Partitions on a Basic Disk.

The Basic Disk is then converted into a Dynamic Disk and Volumes are created. 

An Introduction to RAID systems completes the Unit.
